You already know the deal with Fridees.

It seems today was a much bass heavy day than others so far.

Which is odd considering winter is the time where things universally slow down and people want to stop hearing audible crack 24/7.

This is looking like a setup for a 2026 filled with heavier tracks.

But here’s the twist: It’s all going to sound like the modern version of 2012-2014.

The signs are all over the wall. It’s never seemed this hopeless and a lot of the artists that were popular in those eras are pushing 30.

More.

A lot of the new gen is inspired by those old sounds. Now that they are old enough to have a big platform they want to write “love letters” to those artists.

It’s a tale as old as time.

I for one welcome this era of endless nostalgia under one condition.

Electro House comes back temporarily.

Everything else is free game.

In any case, there’s only a couple days left of 2025. So lets make it the best it can be.

While you do that, here are some tracks that may make it a better experience.

Njoy.

Best of Fridee

Haven’t heard dnb this elevating in a while (Drum & Bass)

Crazy to see album art and go “wait, I’ve been there” (Wave)

Youtube L #1

Do you know? (House)

Was not expecting this from this duo. (The Weird One)

Sings of the y2k era in 2026. (Ghost Produced)

2026 will be the year of nostalgiacore music (groovy)

I hated the first one but this one actually hits. Also more nostalgiabait (electroish but not really?)

Promises that are apparently hard to keep. (Dessert)

Always Looking into the future Forward
