It’s been a couple of months, huh.
I hope your year has been going well. (Feel free to reply with how it’s been)
Mine has been a carbon copy of 2025.
Started a new relationship
Got a new job (making it 2 jobs now.)
Had a "trip countdown" forcing me to lock in to NOT go homeless after the trip
Started 3 side projects
Went on the trip thinking "man, I'm gonna WRITE so many emails!" (lol)
Came back from the trip broke as a joke (thank the Lord for those 2 jobs)
Relationship ended
Hit the middle of the year thinking "damn I really do miss writing those
future court documents on my insanity pleademails"
So like an addict who doesnt learn his lesson, I’m back!
Except this time, I have a plan on making sure it stays that way for longer than a couple weeks.
Now you might not care about this return, no biggie. It has been a while and frankly this is the second year in a row with a multi-month hiatus. If you don’t want to follow our schizophrenic adventures, you can click here to unsubscribe.
For those who are still here, I have to be honest about the reasons behind the hiatus:
Writing a GREAT email that is worth your time and attention every day CAN be hard when stacked against 20 other things I chose to add on my plate.
There was not enough time or bandwidth to allocate which ended up in me writing slop to “not break the streak”.
So what’s the plan to fix this?
Changing the daily emails to a NEW framework.
Going forward, emails are going to be much different than what you’re used to.
It'll have:
A DAILY song (you have NO idea how much the vault grew over these past couple months, the quality is INSANE)
Small random piece of drivel
Something cool we found out in the wild (might not be music related)
It's a shorter and digestible email from what you're used to. BUT it's easier to CONSISTENTLY write and deliver.
(Which is what this other half of the year should be about.)
So If you're one of the 3 people who enjoy these emails for the drivel from a psych ward escapee...
Don’t worry, I’ll send those occasionally.
They'll be of even better quality and (hopefully) more coherent.
Hell, maybe with all these changes we’ll finally have a consistent email schedule! (lol)
So yeah, as of today, The Dumpster is back in business BAYBEE.
