The dumbest travel plan I'm doing this year.

This is how I crash and burn (maybe).

If you're still off from the goals you made in January, traveling may be the solution.

Let me explain…

I am someone who loves to travel. Not in the Stacey (25) Tinder profile way but in the "I want a reason to push past my limits" way. (It also brings a vital “software update”)

That's why I'll do something foolish this year: eat more than I can chew and book a five-city trip I can't fully afford yet.

Heck, I’ve already got the one-way ticket to the first destination and booked the first stay…

But whether I get to eat or even return to Can’tmerica will depend on how much mugney I make before August.

Foolish? Yes.

But I'm sharing this with you for two reasons.

1. To increase the amount of "accountability stress” (I'd look quite stupid if I failed and had to send you a “bad news bros… I ain’t making it out of the hood” email)

2. To give you ideas on how to engineer this “limit push” for yourself.

Now, I'm not recommending you do ANYTHING that makes you crash financially. My current life circumstances allow this life gamble to happen.

Find something that works for you. It has to involve some risk to motivate you to push past your limits, but don’t pick something that will haunt you for years.

My personal goal with this is to engineer real stress without involving others.

In many ways, this is the “escape plan” to my comfort zone.

It's quite hilarious to escape a comfort zone by… going to a comfortable place, but hey—that’s what the 3 hour purpose exercise revealed to me.

Speaking of escape plans, here’s today’s high-energy song in the week-long F.O.O.L showcase.

Initially, I was gonna do a Chronological exploration of his sound…

And then I realized: “Why? All of the music is good, no matter what year it is!” (It also CONVENIENTLY matches the topic of the email. But that's definitely not the reason hehe)

This song has little buildup. It starts with a synthetic melody that will hook you on the spot. The drop is nothing short of energetic, tense, and…

And then it hits.

The gorgeous melodic midsection that will flare up the dopamine in your brain like a Christmas tree.

There’s no stopping after that.

What follows is a transition into a fast barrage of violins mixed with crispy bass that will keep you hooked.

This is where the energy spikes. This is where the euphoria rushes in and leaves you craving for more.

Of course, it has to end with a choreography of electric guitars combined with that bass you’ve come to love.

This feels like an escape scene from a heist. The tensions are high. You must weave in and out of cars to avoid crashing and burning. There’s pressure for you to make it out alive…

The ending -and story you build with this song- is up to your imagination.

This is one of the best synthwave songs I've ever heard. Revisiting it has resulted in a near-addiction and it’s been stuck on repeat the whole day.

I’m sure this song can help you find the adrenaline you need to start working towards your newfound “limit pusher” or “Escape Plan” if it sounds cooler.

Njoy.

Genre: Synthwave

Always Pushing Forward

P.S. Can we quickly appreciate how HARD the album cover goes?

this is just too peak…

If that’s not enough reason to check out the song I don’t know what is lol.
